An informative angle – Can you give them a shareable tip for free? Bring a relevant article to their attention? Provide something of benefit to them that either you’ve created, or is relevant to what you do?

The inspiring angle – Something that makes them think, YES! This company is cool. This company has made me feel pumped for the day!

Tip 2 – Stay up-to-date with the world.

Things are changing all the time, both generally in the world and specifically in your industry.

Let your audience know about it and how it’s good for them. Perhaps a grant is available that’s relevant to the work you do? Or you’re doing something special for a national day that they can get involved in? Or something is trending online that you can put your own spin on?

This is content practically hand-delivered to you, you may as well take advantage!

Tip 3 – Don’t be afraid to be out there!

Allow your voice and personality to come through with your content. You are what makes your business different from anyone else, leverage that.

As long as you can make it relevant, don’t be afraid to share a quote, meme, photo of your dog walk, a line from a book you’re reading. You’re not a robot and pushing your business all the time sucks. No one wants that.

As long as it provides value for your reader, either through information, education, or entertainment, you’ve nailed it.
