Nailing Your Lead Generation Strategy

Joel, myself and Martha were in Birmingham training for three days last week. It’s great to be speaking to business owners face-to-face once more.

I don’t know about you, but I’m Zoom’d out!

Anyway, at the end of the first day, I programmed our hotel into my sat nav and set off from the training centre.

All was going well… until a police car waved us down telling us there was a diversion. We went down some right rabbit runs, in the dark, in a city I’m not familiar with.

But it was fine because again I had my sat nav. 

The sat nav knew the end destination; so it just worked out another way of getting there.

(I did have to make a couple of U-turns because at one point I had the sat nav advising me, Martha giving me a second opinion and then my wife called….) 

The point is…

When you know what your destination is, business is so much easier!

This is where you are, this is where you want to go and here’s the straightest line in between.

We may go off-course now and then – life ain’t perfect – but we’ll always come back to that line.

Most business owners post on social media and run ads with no real end goal. They put out content about whatever, whenever.

Why did you post that on Facebook? Is that post more likely to turn a viewer into a lead?

When did you last send an email? Was that last email more likely to turn a lead into a customer?

Which ad designs are driving the majority of your leads? What are the lowest costs per click and why?

These are all questions that will get you where you want to get, faster.
