Cookie Policy
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Codebreak Group Limited ("Codebreak", "we", "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (www.codebreak.co.uk) and related apps and tools. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
We use cookies in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the UK GDPR, as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to improve performance, and to provide information to the site owner. "Similar technologies" include tracking pixels, tags and local storage, which do a similar job. In this policy we refer to all of these as "cookies".
Cookies may be:
- First-party — set by us; or third-party — set by another organisation whose services we use (for example, Google or Meta).
- Session — deleted when you close your browser; or persistent — staying on your device for a set period.
3. How we ask for your consent
When you first visit our website, you will see a cookie banner.
- Strictly necessary cookies are set automatically because the site cannot work properly without them. These do not require your consent.
- All other cookies (analytics and advertising) are only set after you give consent through the banner.
You can accept or reject categories of cookies, and you can change or withdraw your choices at any time using the button below or by clearing cookies in your browser. Withdrawing consent will not affect data already collected.
4. The cookies we use
We group cookies into the categories below. The specific cookies in use are listed in section 5.
- Strictly necessary cookies — essential for the website to function, for example security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choices.
- Analytics / performance cookies — help us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it, for example Google Analytics.
- Advertising / targeting cookies — used to measure and improve our marketing and to show relevant ads, for example Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Codebreak AI, our own marketing measurement platform.
5. Cookie details

6. Managing cookies in your browser
As well as our cookie banner, you can control cookies through your browser settings — including blocking or deleting them. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working. Guidance for common browsers:
- Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Safari each provide cookie controls in their privacy or settings menus.
- To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, you can install Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
For more general guidance on cookies and how to manage them, see ico.org.uk.
7. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third parties whose services we use. We do not control these cookies, and we recommend reviewing the relevant provider's own privacy and cookie information:
- Google (Analytics and Ads) — policies.google.com
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) — facebook.com/privacy
We also use Codebreak AI, our own marketing measurement platform, which sets identifiers to attribute enquiries and sales to the marketing that produced them. It is covered by our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. We will post the updated version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
