Business Growth Ain’t a Straight Line
Hello. What’s going on? Another day of wonder and opportunity.
I’m not a gambler but I go to the casino on the odd occasion.
Usually with my mate, Ed, who’s a blackjack fan.
He loves it when he wins a game, of course.
Trouble is, he hates it when he loses.
It’s not nice to lose, but losing goes with the territory.
But ALL that matters is where he stands when he leaves the casino at the end of the night.
Is Ed up or down compared to when he walked in, all those hours, beers and chicken wings ago?
It’s the same with your business.
You have an end goal to your growth strategy. Let’s say 12 months.
Where are you now and where do you want to be in 12 months?
Between now and then, some marketing tactics will work amazingly, whilst others will be a bit pants.
You’ll have an unbelievable month. Then maybe a good one, but not as good as the previous one.
Marketing is not a chart with a straight line that simply keeps going up and up.
There’ll be peaks and troughs.
Because that’s life.
It ain’t perfect.
The important thing is to take those losses on the chin and learn from them, so the odds of them happening again decrease.
Wins and learnings.
And, with the right due diligence and consistent implementation, at the end of 12 months you’ll be in a better place.
Again, that’s ALL that matters.
Trouble is, most business owners don’t know where they want to be in 12 months’ time.
They’re too busy firefighting and dealing with sh*t that’s not making their boat go faster.
And, even when it does go faster, it’s going round in circles!
If you need clarity on your goals and want to be measurably in the black in 12 months’ time…Choose the next step that’s best for you.
